On February 10, 2018 PJC Youth joined the Historic Thousands on Jones Street (HKonJ) People’s Assembly Coalition and members of over 200 other social justice organizations for the 12th Annual Moral March on Raleigh.
This year’s march focused primarily on gerrymandering and voter mobilization. Youth learned about the unfair political advantage to certain political parties, also known as gerrymandering, and the importance of taking their resistance to the voting polls.
Youth also joined other activists in raising awareness on issues such as: worker rights, DACA, immigration, health care and more
