ABOUT ANGEL GAONA

Angel Gaona is a Food and Farm Workers Relief Grant Program Coordinator. His role with NC Field involves planning and distributing allocated funds for the farmworker community who were employed during the COVID-19 pandemic in agriculture. The FFWR team at NC Field has been tasked with distributing 4.8 million dollars to this community. He has a degree in Neuroscience, and believes that helping under-resourced communities has always fueled his drive in his profession. His family is his motivation. For fun, he loves to do anything that involves the outdoors. Angel works closely with the United Farmworker Foundation through the Alivio program. This includes joining their monthly calls and providing reports about FFWR progress. He is also a member of the NC Field monthly advisory board meetings.
