ABOUT MOCTEZUMA URIARTE

Moctezuma is a former Poder Juvenil Campesino youth group member who has joined NC FIELD staff as a CHW. Moctezuma graduated high school this year and plans to study science at Lenoir Community College (LCC). Afterward, he plans to continue his studies in environmental science at a university. Moctezuma recently received a scholarship from LCC and was recognized as a varsity soccer and wrestling team captain.

When asked what he thought about his employment at NC FIELD, he responded that we continuously impact families and farmworkers who need it. "We have the chance to support and empower people facing challenges with resources, information, and assistance to improve their well-being," says Moctezuma.
